SIR,
I became a volunteer for the Cancer Research UK charity shop in October/ November of last year; it has turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I have made new friends and gained valuable work experience through working there four days a week.
The shop is always changing to meet the fashion trends of the season with the clothes sorted to that season or year's colours, and there is always a fresh supply of clothing, accessories, homeware, children's wear, records, books and DVDs.
There are so many things to do like till work, customer service, steaming and sorting of garments, sorting homeware and general shop duties like keeping the shop beautiful.
Hayley, the manager, is one of the best people if not the best person to work for.
The shop is always looking for new people to join our friendly and hard working team, so if you wish to gain work experience, meet new friends and build up your confidence please pop into the shop at 20 Agincourt Square and speak to Hayley or call 01600 772876.
