A MONMOUTH opticians raised a £150 cheque in aid of Bridges Community Centre.
Vision Express reopened their doors after Storm Claudia last Friday ( and as part of their opening they held a tombola which raised proceedings for Bridges.
It has now been confirmed they raised £150 which will go towards their restoration process in getting the community centre back open again.
Store Manager of Vision Express, Harry, handed the check over to Bridges, and accepting the cheque was caretaker of the centre, Richard.
This donation reflects the generosity and community spirit of people coming together during a difficult time. It also demonstrates the strength and initiative of a local business supporting a charity, recognising challenges, and stepping up when they needed support.
