SIR,

I am growing increasingly frustrated and annoyed at a group of small minded people who are causing great distress and threatening not only a local business but the livelihoods of local people and indeed the economy of our area.

Opposite my bungalow is an area of ground that is used to house a few pieces of machinery and a shed.

The business uses this land on an infrequent basis to shuffle equipment and vans. The land often lies quiet and free from disturbance for weeks on end.

There is occasional early morning activity and the sound of one or two vans moving about. Never have I seen more than four or five vans there or more than six or so people.

There are reports into the planning department of 20 plus vehicles coming and going on a daily basis...untrue. I am at home all day most days, have doors and windows open and on occasions would relish more activity.

I would urge these people to take care in this time of ecconomic chaos they are interfering with peoples lives to save two or so vans passing their windows. Indeed they have more vehicles coming and going up and down our lane in a day than this company has most weeks. I wish that the council would consult us on what is happening if they would like the true story.
