USK is one of three Post Offices in Monmouthshire to have been awarded a share of a £4.5m fund to help sub-postmasters and sub-postmistresses diversify and improve their Post Offices.

Deputy Minister for Regeneration Leighton Andrews made the announcement this week.

The funding will lead to the equivalent of 57 full time jobs at post offices, including Usk, throughout Wales.

This is the second round of funding which is designed to help sub-postmasters and sub-postmistresses diversify and improve their Post Offices.
