IT was an exciting day for Monmouthshire as two local women picked up awards at the Cheltenham Women In Business Club Maxmise Conference on 24th November. The conference and business exhibition which is held once a year is a lively and informative event run by Angela De Souza who is the managing director of the National UK Women’s Business Clubs.  

Angela said: “At Womens Business Club we work to empower, equip and inspire women executives and entrepreneurs to achieve their desired results. We offer support and friendship through the networking groups and it is great to award our successful members at our annual conference for the results they achieve throughout the year”

Beverley Jones from Awaken Coaching Limited won the Speaker of the Year award 2015 and Emma Skipp from Wye Media won the Excellence in Business award 2015 at the conference; both winners reside in Raglan and are members of the Monmouthshire branch of the Women’s Business Club.
