SIR,
I would like to make a tribute to my sister Kathleen Elizabeth Westcott, affectionately known as Kay, on behalf of myself, my brother Terry, and family members.
Kay chose a profession in Domestic Science initially but then opted for a completely different direction and became a clerical administrator at the Royal Ordnance Factory.
In 1945, she was chosen to join a government team of selected administrators sent to Germany called the Control Commission.
She had a keen interest in music and often attended musical events featuring The Monmouth Choral Society and the Merlin Musical Society.
Her years as a dedicated steward at St Mary's Church played a very important part in her living to 88 years.
Kay will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Roger Davies
