The co-owner of a Monmouth care village was kidknapped and his new wife murdered while they were on honeymoon in South Africa.
Shrien Dewani set up Gibraltar Care Village with his brother and father as part of the company PSP Healthcare.
He was enjoying a break with wife Anni Dewani, who he married just two weeks ago, when their taxi was hijacked as they travelled through the outskirts of Cape Town late last Saturday night (13th November).
Two gunmen are reported to have forced the taxi driver out of the car before driving off with the newly-weds inside.
Mr Dewani, from Bristol, was forced out of the car about 20 minutes later after having a gun held to his head. He made his way to a police station and reported the kidknapping.
The next morning, Anni Dewani was found dead in the back of the taxi.
