UPDATE: The road is now open.A ROAD in Monmouthshire has been closed after an incident involving a lorry was caused by ice this morning.

The A466 is currently closed in both directions between Llandogo and Brockweir after an incident involving three vehicles. It has been reported that the incident involved a lorry sliding off the road due to the icy conditions. Police and fire services are on the scene.

The incident is currently causing delays on the road in both directions.

It is currently unknown how long the road will take to clear.
