After a somewhat disappointingly long season, which ended with just missing out on promotion, Monmouth Rugby Club went on their traditional 'end of season' tour to far flung climes.
This time it was the island of Malta who hosted the club, where five sides competed in a round robin tournament.
Two sides from England, Hutton and Finchley, French side Barbezieux and Malta Barbarians were the opposition.
Convincing wins over the other sides left Monmouth playing Berbezieux to determine who would win the tournament.
