Cardiff was transformed into a showcase of incredible strength on Sunday, 30 August 2026, as Wales’ Strongest Man attracted competitors and spectators for a thrilling day of action.

Monmouth man Tom Wellington earned his spot and competed in Wales strongest man on Sunday August 30th.

The event took place at Cardiff International Sports Campus where 12 of the nation's finest strongmen competed in a series of gruelling challenges which saw Tom come in seventh place out of 12.

They battled through demanding events, testing their power, endurance and determination as they competed for the prestigious national title.

The event, part of the UK strongman circuit, saw competitors tackling a series of gruelling challenges. Huge weights were lifted, carried and pulled.
