A HISTORIC country house that was home to a council outward bound centre is hosting a Murder Mystery this weekend.
Grade II-listed Palladian mansion Hilston Park at Newcastle near Monmouth is where sleuths will attempt to solve the dastardly deed this Saturday and Sunday (September 5-6) from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Put on by the Magenta Theatre Company, those on the trail of the killer will explore Hilston Park, follow clues, question suspects, uncover secrets and piece together the evidence.
There will be live scenes, one-to-one interrogations, hidden clues, puzzles and plenty of twists and turns.
A vegetarian buffet lunch and refreshments are included in the ticket price, £45 per person or £160 for a team of four, from Hilston Park, Monmouth’s Boat House Gallery or Abbey Mill, Tintern.
