SIR,
We are fed up of the way the town and county councils are treating Monmouth.
Houses are going to people that don't even live in Monmouth, a lot of Monmouth people have been waiting years.
These 800 houses which are going up will again be for the rich, who can afford them, and not for local people.
Ambulances are never on time, sometimes don't even turn up. It is not the fault of Monmouth ambulances but the Welsh Government.
We are still fighting for the ambulances to be kept in Monmouth, for the Monmouth people, and we need two ambulances not one.
The job centre should open again. There are a lot of people now in Monmouth. It should not have closed in the first place.
Businesses in Monmouth are struggling, we are losing small businesses to make way for the giants.
At the moment Monmouth people don't have a say, but this is going to change. The Monmouth people will have a say.
There are nine of us Monmothians who will be fighting for each of the wards in Monmouth as county and town councillors, each one of us an independent.
We still need a few more candidates so anyone who wants to fight for their town can contact Steve Davies on 01600 712973, Ray Bradley on 07794188921 or myself on 01600 714961.
