SIR,

Here we go again with the dog walkers who choose The Gardens and Dixton Close as a nice little circle to walk around.

Once again there are the dirty ones who leave the poo. One even picks it up in a little black bag, then drops the bag.

I cannot understand the morality of this person. This is one time it is better to leave for the rain to wash away or better still (I'm sure this would make them happy) to tell someone to take it home on their shoes. It is easy to slip on, if it dark take a little torch with you.

Can I remind those dirty dog walkers in this circle that there are four bins. One by the old hospital, one just across the road leading to Osbaston, one outside Parade House nursing home and one on Dixton Road opposite the old health centre.

There is no excuse at all for not picking up with a bag. It is not as if you have to get your hands dirty.

Perhaps dirty dog walkers will make a New Year's resolution and clean up.

Eileen Thompson
