THE Welsh Perry and Cider Festival is set to be held at Caldicot Castle over the bank holiday weekend of 22-25th May.
Returning for a third year, the festival moved to Caldicot to allow for a bigger event.
Now in its 14th year, the Perry and Cider Festival welcomed more than 2,500 visitors to last years event with over 90 craft perries and ciders from 30 producers available to test.
Organisers are prepared for this year's festival to be bigger than ever before and many returning visitors have booked tickets already.
Musicians including singer/songwriter Ragsy from BBC's The Voice, local band Bleedin' Noses, the James Clode Band from Cardiff and festival favourites The Bakestones will all be appearing over the long weekend.
On Saturday 23rd, the producers once again will compete to be named Champion Cider or Perry Maker 2015, when the annual Welsh Perry and Cider Championships will take place.
The impressive array of perries and ciders available ensures there will always be something new to discover, with pure local apple juice available for non-drinkers and designated drivers.
Chair of the Welsh Perry and Cider Society, Ann Hallett, says: "We are really proud of the way the festival has grown and the support that people have for the craft cider industry.
"It really is a great way to spend the bank holiday weekend, as the festival accommodates music lovers, cider fans, foodies and families alike.
"Monday 25th is family day with medieval activities planned to entertain all."
