Has anyone on the medical board given a thought to the patients who are to use the proposed new health centre if Dixton closes?

Where do most of them live? I suggest – at present -– Osbaston, which is not on a bus route for the proposed new surgery and a difficult dangerous walk from the bus station for elderly, infirm people.

Could the controversial flood plain site still be in the frame?

It seems too that one good reason for moving the surgery would be to facilitate the minor surgery operations.

Surely this is what a hospital is for? I feel it is time to ask what hospital function does Monnow Vale 'hospital' carry out?

This new proposed site will in any case mean even more traffic through the already congested centre of Monmouth.

I note this plan has already been agreed by the Aneurin Bevan health board and now only wants approval by the Welsh Government. What are our councillors doing?
