Police are looking for information after a lorry-load of vacuum cleaners were stolen from a layby on the A40 last week.

At about 2.20am on Friday 28th October, a lorry driver discovered his load had been stolen sometime since 5pm the evening before.

A large quantity of vacuum cleaners were stolen on pallets from the vehicle. The pallets were later found abandoned nearby – minus the vacuum cleaners.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have seen unusual activity on the A40 that night or has any information about the theft.
