THE son of a 58-year-old man who was taken to hospital after a single-vehicle collision on Wye Bridge in Monmouth has shared his heartfelt thanks to the emergency services involved in the incident.

The accident, which happened at Sunday lunchtime (January 25), was attended by Gwent Police, Welsh Ambulance Services, University NHS Trust and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

The son shared his heartfelt thanks to all of the 999 responders, saying his father is recovering well and “wouldn’t be here today without their outstanding response”.
