ST David's Day, on Saturday, March 1st, is a day not to be missed - the Magic of the Music Hall at Monmouth's Blake Theatre will re-introduce the Golden Age of variety. A three hour family show of music, magic and comedy will be introduced by Royal Toastmaster Harry Polloway. The show will feature, amongst others, recording artist Debbie Anne Clarke, direct from the Royal Academy of Music; multi instrumentalist /comedian Steve Stevens; impressionist Mervyn Jaye; international magician Mark Townsend; master of the pianoforte Michael Young; the Wye Valley Chorus, "newscaster" Justin Case and the famous Welsh Poet Ap Idiot. The audience are invited to dress in the clothes of yesteryear but this is purely optional.
