MONMOUTH’S Age Cymru charity is shop is asking local residents to take part in the Big Bag Challenge.

The Big Bag Challenge is the Welsh older people’s charity’s annual stock donation appeal for its network of shops.

Anyone calling into the shop at Unit 4 of the Oldway Centre can pick up a donation bag to fill at home or leave a bag of good to donate.

“If you’re planning on having a clear out, why not donate your unwanted items to your local Age Cymru shop?” says Age Cymru’s Retail Development Manager Ruth Jones.

“Just pop into our shop in Monmouth and ask for a donation bag to fill at home, or drop off a bag of goods you want to donate.

“We accept clothing, shoes, books, accessories or homeware at Age Cymru charity shops.

“Your donation will help support the work of Age Cymru and our mission of improving the lives of older people across Wales by tackling issues such as poverty and elder abuse.”

Age Cymru works nationally and locally through its network of independent local Age Cymru partners.
