May I, through your column, thank the customers and staff of Waitrose, Monmouth, for their very kind donations to the in-store charity box displayed in the name of Monmouth Visually Impaired Club over the past few weeks?

These monies will be used to provide free and safe transport for club members to and from their homes to various venues of educational and social interest, and to purchase optical and other equipment to enhance their lack of vision.
