May I, through your columns, express the thanks of the membership of Monmouth Visually Impaired club to the proprietor and staff of the Misbah Tandori of Priory Street, Monmouth, for hosting a charity buffet on behalf of our organisation on the evening of 11th November.

Needless to say that the evening was a complete success with an excellent buffet, raffle, and good company. Hosted by the proprietor himself, this was a repeat performance of such a fund raising event on our behalf.

The sum raised by this event will be used for transport costs for our members enabling them to attend various venues for both social and educational visits in and around our town.
