SIR On Tuesday last (23rd) I tripped and fell in Waitrose car park. Although my facial injuries were fairly superficial, I had some difficulty in seeing due to the blood streaming down my face. However, a number of very kind ladies helped me to the Chippenham surgery for some much needed first aid and also undertook to contact my wife, who was to meet me in the car. Because of my predicament I was, regrettably, not able to adequately thank these very kind ladies at the time, so I would like to do so now. Their generous public spirited actions were much appreciated. Thank you all again. Raymond Ham (Redbrook)
