SIR
On behalf of all at Bridges Community Centre, we are writing to thank Monmouthshire County Council for the superb work undertaken to restore and repaint the iron railings at the front of Drybridge House which were in a fairly poor state of repair. A team of specialist contractors were engaged to do the necessary work by the Council. They set about their work demonstrating great craftsmanship and sensistivity regarding use of the building. The team literally left no stone unturned, also replacing a stone pillar that had been damaged and displaced over the years. The finished work has undoubtedly enhanced the appearance of the house as befits its listed building status.
Yours faithfully,
Mark Walton (Centre Director)
Graham Jones (Chair of Trustees)
