On behalf of Christian Aid in Monmouth, I would like to thank all the people who contributed to the recent Haiti appeal.
A special thank you to Margaret and staff of the Green Dragon pub, who organised a quiz raising £379.50.
With this sum, and retiring collections from the Monmouth group of parishes and other donations, we contributed £1,169 to the Christian Aid emergency appeal.
