Following the recent article in the Monmouthshire Beacon reminding us of the bi-laws appertaining to A-boards, I should like to thank and commend those traders who have voluntarily taken action to comply.

The difference is remarkable, having made Monnow Street and Church Street much tidier places and less dangerous areas for pedestrians.

I do hope that this trend will continue and that those few traders who have yet to comply will soon follow the example set by the vast majority.
