Through your letters page in the Monmouthshire Beacon, my daughter and I would like to thank the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust, who responded to a call within five minutes, Waitrose staff and the shoppers who helped during a fall incident relating to epilepsy on Wednesday 18th December.

A special thank you to Sheila for alerting me about the event and to Pippa, Waitrose's first aider, who supported us.

Fortunately, no injuries were sustained as a result of the episode, so no admission to hospital was necessary.
