SIR,

Thank you very much for your support at this year's Women's Day of Prayer service at St Mary's Priory Church on Friday 7th March.

The service, prepared by Christian women of Egypt with the theme 'Streams in the Desert', was very emotional.

On your behalf I would like to thank the ladies for planning the service and for taking part, with a special 'Thank You' to Jenny Newman for the piano accompaniment.

The congregation were very generous in their donations to the WWDP and a total of £274.76 has been banked.

Next year's celebration will be organised by Monmouth Methodist Church. The theme will be 'Jesus Said to Them: Do You Know What I Have Done to You?' and the celebration will be written by the women of The Bahamas.
