May I say thank you on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support, my son and I to the many kind people who sponsored us for this year's London Marathon.
More than £2,000 has been raised so far for the charity.
I am immensely proud of my son's achievement, completing his first marathon in four hours, one minute and 25 seconds. I staggered round my 31st marathon just a little bit quicker, at three hours 52 minutes and 14 seconds.
It was a fantastic day which we will continue to celebrate with a bit more fundraising for a fantastic charity.
