MADAM,

Further to the ongoing problem of people walking in the road in Monmouth, on Saturday 17th, I was travelling (or trying to travel) past the Shire Hall when four persons in a two by two formation, decided that the wide road at this point was nice to walk along while they chatted and admired the market stalls.

Totally unaware that I and several cars behind me were there, I decided not to blow my horn as it would frighten them and is against the law in that situation anyway, but I gently revved my engine just to let them know that I was there.

They turned and shouted at me and when I was eventually able to pass, they kicked my car.

Thank you to these persons for denting my car.
