All five Penallt Tennis Club teams have had a successful season in the Cymru Kitchens Monmouthshire Tennis Leagues.
The ladies' team were promoted to the premiership this season and have managed to hold their own against the big Newport clubs, finishing the season seventh out of eight teams but only one point behind Abergavenny A and Chepstow.
The regular players have been Sue Jenkins, Lynne Morris, Ginni Higgins, Sue Dean and Nicky Amery with occasional appearances from Caroline Peters, Barbara Barter and Rosie Adams.
Both mens' teams have been playing in the first division. Penallt A finished third out of eight and Penallt B sixth.
