A 17-YEAR-OLD girl has been left with life-changing injuries after a collision between a car and a bridge near Raglan.

Three people were injured when the car collided with the A449 overbridge on Friday evening (11th December).

The road was closed for over three hours while fire crews released the two males, one was the driver, and the female from the vehicle.

She has been named locally as 17-year-old Hollie Dawson from Raglan, a pupil at Monmouth Comprehensive School who was recently given the PE award for Most Promising Hockey Player at their annual awards evening.

She received “potentially life-changing injuries” and the driver and other passenger’s injuries are described as “serious but not life changing” .

All were taken to hospital where they were treated for their injuries.
