A BRIDGES receptionist has been congratulated for competing in the London Marathon and raising over a thousand pounds for the community centre.

Angela Price, who works the desk at Bridges finished the marathon earlier this month. Bridges is a growing independent charity at Drybridge House in Monmouth and provides outreach services throughout Monmouthshire and beyond.Their goal since 1984 has been to enhance the wellbeing of the community, including young and old, able-bodied and disabled, mothers and toddlers, young and old. This is a cause close to Angela’s heart as she sees first hand how many people have benefited from the work the charity does.Including Gift Aid, Angela has raised over £1,500 for the community centre.
