SIR,

I wish to express my disgust with the up and coming Showcase Spectacular at the Haberdashers' School for Girls on Thursday 25th February.

My daughter is taking part in the production, and we, as proud parents, naturally wish to go and watch our 'little star' perform.

We rightfully have to purchase tickets. However, my disgust starts with the fact that we have to collect our child as soon as she has finished performing, and are only permitted to return if we buy an extra ticket for her.

So, to get this straight: we have to buy a ticket and are only allowed to watch half the show. My daughter has to purchase a ticket for a show in which she is performing. Am I getting grumpy in my old age, or does this smack of greed in the organisers?
