IT MAY be 65 years since the end of the Second World War, but one Monmouth man has only just received his service medals.
Former Captain Lancelot John Windridge, who is 95 years old, didn't know he was entitled to claim for his medals until a friend told him and helped with the paperwork.
His memories of wartime experiences tell an interesting tale.
