MADAM,

Walking past the skatepark today I noticed that at least 25 of the new trees planted have been snapped off, and one has been pulled up by the roots.

A large piece of concrete is in the middle of the tarmac. The waste basket has been placed at the opposite end to the tables with the result that litter is strewn all around the table area.

I am in favour of facilities for youngsters but when considering the cost of supplying such a facility, extra cost should be added for permanent surveillance because of the spoilers.

It will surely cost just as much in the end to keep replacing trees and equipment, meanwhile, children who want to enjoy the facility can't and it is a permanent eyesore.
