The Sports Association have been given a boost to their fundraising with a donation from local firm Siltbuster which has paid for a much-needed floor cleaner.

Terry Cleaves, President of the association explained that the floor cleaner was a much needed item for the refurbished pavilion.

“The more use the pavilion is getting, the more use we have for a floor cleaner and we are very grateful to Siltbuster for sponsoring it. It makes the job a lot easier and quicker in turning around the building between events and it does a good job, better than a dustpan and brush!”

Richard Matthews, CEO of Siltbuster said:"As a business well rooted in the area, we are pleased to support local organisations, like Monmouth Sports Association".

The association of sports group were given a Sport Wales grant from the Welsh Government towards the refurbishment of the sports pavilion on Chippenham and recent town council funding has allowed the group to install a television and trophy case in the main function room,
