MADAM, As party leader of the British Empire Party (BEP), I was very concerned and shocked when I read the Beacon and saw Monnow Vale Hospital is to close down the nurse-led minor injuries unit. When the old hospital was sold, that money was put towards Monnow Vale Hospital and it was promised that everything would remain the same as the old hospital. I was a town councillor at this particular time. Our party will fight to get the nurse-led minor injuries unit back, even if it means a petition.
