The search to find a man who fell from the Wye Bridge in Chepstow yesterday, has been suspended due to the changing tide.
Gwent Police and other search crews continued to look for the missing man through the day today after being forced to abandon their search late yesterday evening because of the darkness.
Police received a call at approximately 2.45pm yesterday reporting a man having fallen into the water from the Wye Bridge, Chepstow.
Officers attended the scene and The Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) Inshore Rescue boat, the Coastguard at Chepstow and the Avon and Somerset police helicopter joined the search.
Search crews expect to be called in to search again tomorrow (14th February).
