A former Monmouth Comprehensive School pupil hoping to make it big in the art world will have his work shown at a number of exhibitions and festivals this year.

The artist, who calls himself 'Scroller', is a 21-year-old Materials Practice graduate from Brighton University, who studied at Hereford College of Art and Design after leaving the comprehensive.

Scroller has a passion for working with wood, metal and 'reclaimed industrial materials'.

He will be exhibiting his degree work in Brighton from 3rd to 9th June, before working with scrap metal art collective Mutoid Waste Company to create 'The Unfair Ground', which will be shown at this summer's Glastonbury Festival from 22nd to 26th June.

From 30th June to 2nd July, Scroller's 'kinetically enhanced sliding door' will be exhibited at the prestigious 'London New Designers' show at the Business Design Centre in the capital.
