A Chepstow primary school had to be deep cleaned overnight after high levels of sickness among staff and pupils last Thursday (21st February).

The Dell School was keen to eradicate any bugs that may have been present in the building following the bouts of sickness.

The school opened at 10am on Friday to allow extra time for cleaning.

Parents were warned that any children who have vomitted or had diarrhoea in the past 48 hours should stay away from school.
