THE Saran brothers starred in Monmouth Seconds' crushing nine-wicket home win over Rushwick Seconds in the Worcestershire County League Division 2 2nd XI.
Tej Saran bagged four for 35 and then Jagdev Saran (pictured) struck 61 as Monmouth picked up 20 points and completed a league double over their Worcester rivals last Saturday (31st July).
The average age of the Monmouth side was just 22 with Ian Morgan, at 33, the oldest member of the home team.
Monmouth Seconds, sponsored by the Jewel Balti, are now fourth in the table and travel to second-placed Alvechurch & Hopwood Seconds this weekend.
