Monmouth RFC's Presentation night saw a great timebeing had by all and particularly those who received prizes.

Winners were: Ist XV Player of the Year was David Brace who despite serious injuries during his career and time moving on was the player who it was adjudged excelled in the Senior side.

Close behind him and at the other end of the age spectrum was Rhys Ricketts the 1st XV Most Promising Player of the Year, who joined the Firsts in December straight from the Youth and never looked back and received his trophy from Lewis Evans - a Dragons rising star and teenage Welsh rugby international and Ian Seymour the Club Coach (pictured above).

Stacey Edwards one of the stalwarts of the Club, earned perhaps the biggest accolade of all as the 1st XV Players' Player of the Year but Andrew Hunter the Druids Most Promising Player and Mark Roberts the Youth Most Promising Player will be hoping to emulate Stacey's loyalty to the Club and his adaptability as a player.

Other winners included Tom Homer Player of the Year and Nick Phillips the Players' Player for the Druids; and representing the fast developing Youth XV were Ed Wheeler as their Player of the Year and Jack Bicknall as the Players choice.

The evening was rounded off with a Disco but not before due recognition was afforded to Dave Jenkins, the Clubman of the Year and a special award marking the well-earned retirement of Jeff Scourfield after years of active and loyal service to the Club and particularly to his beloved Druids.
