This week's Wales Rally GB will see the realisation of a lifelong dream for local co-driver Will Rogers.
Rogers will team up with Becky Kirvan in her Fiesta ST for this year's World Rally Championship finale, which starts in Llandudno today (Thursday 10th November).
"It's a dream come true for me to do the event, when you look at the names at the head of the field, they're the drivers you usually watch on other WRC events on TV," said Rogers.
"It's going to be a hard week but I'm really looking forward to it, although the Welsh weather can play funny tricks this time of year as well."
A late replacement for Karen Watts who pulled out through injury, Rogers has good knowledge of the forests being used, and hopes this will help the British Rally Championship Ladies Champion Kirvan back to the finish in Cardiff on Sunday afternoon.
"When you look at the route its like five or six national rallies rolled into four days," said Rogers.
