Road closures to go ahead so work can take place

Monmouthshire County Council has agreed the following temporary road closures so work can go ahead:

A section of Penygarn Road, Penallt will be closed between 11th May and 13th May 2022 so Dwr Cymru Welsh Waterworks can carry out work. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows: Brook Road, Glyn Road, Birches Road and vice versa.

A temporary closure of a section of R2 Llanfihangel – Longtown Road, Pandy on the 16th May 2022 operating between 09:30 – 15:30 so BT Openreach works can take place. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows: Walterstone Road, Hunthouse Lane and vice versa.

There will be a temporary closure of a section of R71, Llansoy on the 15th May operating between 09:30 – 15:30. This is necessary for BT Openreach works to take place. There will be no signed diversion route in place.

There will also be a temporary closure of a section of Upper Church Street, Chepstow between 11th May and 13th May 2022 so Dwr Cymru Welsh Waterworks can take place. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows: Church Road, Lower Church Street, St Ann Street, Bridge Street.
