SIR, My maternal great grandparents Thomas Watkins and Emily Prosser were married in Monmouth on August 16, 1819. This union produced eleven children between 1852 and 1872, the youngest being my grandmother Charlotte Watkins. Charlotte married my grandfather Edwin Prosser on December 24, 1891, also in Monmouth, they eventually moved to Glamorgan (Hirwaun) about 1898. I would be interested in knowing if any of the Watkins/Prosser descendants are still living in the town of Monmouth, or in that general area, and would appreciate having this letter printed in your Newspaper, at your convenience of course, to assist my search.
