REDBROOK school reached their target of more than 40 bags full of recycled clothes for Phil the Bag.
The Phil the Bag project collects recyclable clothes and fabric from schools, giving money back for every kilogram donated.
Redbrook School then uses that money to buy things which are not covered by the official school budget, such as astroturf for part of the playground and a trip to the theatre for all the children.
"We won't know for a while how much we have raised this time but we are so grateful to all our pupils' parents and friends for collecting their old clothes and bringing them into school," said Louise Frith, school secretary.
"It really makes a difference to have a little bit of extra money to treat all the children."
