Glorious sunshine welcomed a record breaking 25,000 people (up 28% on the previous record) to Usk Show last Saturday.

Making up for last year's disappointment, when the show field was under water, resulting in cancellation, the crowds were entertained by many activities.

These included homecraft and horticultural displays, vintage and steam exhibits, small animals and pets.

Hundreds of local traders were to be found outside and in the Food Hall, and there was entertainment of every kind for the children.
