This October sees the launch of Guide Dogs’ Pups to Partnerships appeal, when people all over Wales will be raising money to help fund seven lifetime guide dog partnerships in just 31 days. To succeed, we’ve set an ambitious target of raising £420,000 in one month and, if you think we have a mountain to climb, you’d be right!

To kick-start the Pups to Partnerships appeal in Wales, Guide Dogs Cymru is inviting people with or without sight to challenge themselves by joining us for a walk up Pen y Fan on 7th October or Snowdon on 8th October – both, if you’re feeling energetic! We invite you to bring a friend or family member to act as your sighted guide, although we will have staff on hand to make sure everyone is safe.

Participants are encouraged to raise a target of £200 in sponsorship, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top – Team Pen y Fan or Team Snowdon!

We’ll meet at 9.30am for a briefing both days and start our walk at 10am. The Pen y Fan walk will take two to three hours, with the Snowdon walk a more challenging seven to eight hours.
