The railway line between Gloucester and Severn Tunnel Junction has been closed following an incident tonight (Monday, August 24)

National Rail says emergency services were called to an incident between Caldicot and Lydney.

The incident was reported at around 7.15pm and the line was expected to be closed for the rest of the day.

Services were being cancelled or diverted via Bristol Parkway.
