TRADERS in Raglan are fighting back after a number of thefts in the village.
A group business owners, concerned about a perceived lack of police presence, are taking matters into their own hands.
The group is planning to start their own patrols around the village and the surrounding area, and will be holding an open meeting for villagers to come and express their concerns.
Speaking as a committee, the group said: "There has been an upturn in crime in Raglan recently – about £35,000 worth of stock has been stolen from Frank Sutton's, and other businesses have been targeted too.
